Beginner trail horse extraordinaire! First Lady was ready and willing to give rides to the most inexperienced of riders practically from the time she was first trained at 3 years old. She was born a sweet and easy going gal. Smooth gaits from walk to around 6-7 miles per hour, she follows the crowd on trail rides and remains super calm and takes care of her rider even if all the other horses around her are acting up. She just looks at them like they are idots. : ) Lady has had 3 fillies and no colts in her lifetime. The first two are grown and trained mares now and are total beginner horses. The palomino, Jasmine, is out of Lady. She just had her third filly this year and little Royal is following in their footsteps.

Lady stands at 14.2 and his a smokey black and white tobiano. Her bloodlines go back to high quality old time Fox Trotter lines on her dam’s side and her sire is Curly Fox Trotter stallion, DCC Vegas. He gave his curls and  color to Lady.

As time has progressed, we have settled into a favorite style of riding. We LOVE to gait fast. Since a number of our horses can gait smoothly in the 12-15 MPH range, we have decided to part with all horses on our farm that do not gait up to 12 mph. Please contact Lisa for more info.

A wonderful family recently purchased Lady who needed a kid friendly horse. She is now enjoying playing with lots of kids and letting them crawl all over her. We miss you Lady!
